A written quote

What your quote looks like

Every lot gets a quote like these, by text, before the first visit. They show what a quote lists for the lot sizes shown.

  • Small city lot, every week

A 2,500 to 5,000 sq ft lot with a front lawn, a back strip and two walks.

    • Weekly visit: mow, trim, edge and blowAbout 28 visits
    • Skipped visitsNot billed
    • Fuel, battery or equipment feeNone
    • Leaf clean-up and haulingNot included
    Term:
April to October, about 28 visits

Billed per visit, after each cut.

  • Condo strip, every other week

A shared lawn strip under 2,500 sq ft along a building walkway.

    • Every-other-week visit: mow, trim, edge and blowAbout 14 visits
    • Skipped visitsNot billed
    • Fuel, battery or equipment feeNone
    • Leaf clean-up and haulingNot included
    Term:
April to October, about 14 visits

Billed per visit, after each cut.

Your lot gets its own price. Leaf clean-up, hauling, tall hedges and any fertilizer or weed treatment are not part of a mowing plan.

What sets the price

Four things move your number

  • Lot size

We measure the mowable lawn from aerial photos, not the whole lot. Beds, paving and a house footprint do not count.

  • Slope and access

Steep banks, stairs, narrow side yards and locked gates add time. We ask for a photo before we quote them.

  • Grass height

A lawn that has gone to the knee needs a first cut in stages. We quote that cut apart from the plan.

  • How often

Every other week costs more per visit than every week, because the grass is longer when we arrive.

The plan terms

Skip, pause or cancel by text

  • Skip a visit

Text before 6 p.m. the day before your route day. The visit is skipped, not billed, and your day does not move.

  • Pause for the winter

Most lawns rest from November to February. Your plan pauses on its own and restarts with the first spring cut.

  • Cancel any time

Text or call. You pay for visits already done and nothing after. There is no fee and no contract.

Questions

Questions about plans

What does a visit cost?

It depends on lot size and how often we come. Every week, every other week and a single visit are each priced per visit by lot size, from a condo strip to a large lot. Slopes, stairs, tall grass and gates can change the price, and we text you the number before the first visit.

What happens when you look at my yard?

We measure from aerial photos and the street, then text you a written price for your lot. If something looks off, like a steep bank or a locked gate, we ask for a photo before we quote.

How do I pay?

We bill per visit by card, through a link we text you after the cut. Skipped visits are not billed. We do not ask for a deposit on a mowing plan.

How does the skip rule work?

Text us before 6 p.m. the day before your route day and that visit is skipped and not billed. Skipped visits do not carry a credit and do not shift your day.

How do I cancel a plan?

Text or call us. You pay for visits already done and nothing after. There is no cancellation fee, and no contract to sign.

Does a plan promise how my lawn will look?

No. A plan holds your place on a route day and covers the visits we make. It is not insurance on your lawn.

Ask for a route day

We text back a day, a window and a written price for your lot.
